| | Description of Class: This class is equivalent to Beginning Spanish. Because the Spanish language is closely intertwined with Hispanic culture, the class is divided into nine units based on a different country. Spanish grammar will be learned through the integration of history, music, culture, art, literature, film, food, sports, etc... of the following countries or regions: España, El Caribe (Puerto Rico/Cuba/La República Dominicana), México, Los Estados Unidos (The U.S.), Costa Rica, Chile, Argentina, Colombia, and Perú.
